I was fortunate enough to spend the month of August in Thailand. Renting a car in Bangkok I set out for Chaing Mai. This is something I will put off until after I have gotten over the jetlag the next time. Took in some Thai boxing and a ka thuhy show at a recently opened bar beer center off of Loikhro Rd.. A short walk to the Night Bazaar and we watched the Thai Dancing. Spent the daytime driving like crazy thru the mountains, not an experience for the weak of heart, but exhilarating.

The drive back to Bangkok was long, but the jetlag was gone. The usual in Bangkok; Soi Nana, Soi Cowboy, Thermae and Patpoong. I remember now why I stay away from Patpoong, but I have to go at least once in a trip. A few days Latter I am off to Pattaya for some real fun.

Checked in to the Penthouse Hotel for a week. The photos with the fancy woodwork and mirrors were taken there. I was in bed looking in the mirror and there was the best shot, but the mirror is smoked glass, so I only have the memory. The girls from Cats A Go-Go were accommodating. Starting out small I picked a couple for the first night. No to complain, but being a hard one to please I had to follow up with few girls the next night. Finally working up to a quadruple dip for the finally. Now I am looking to the sextuplet on my return.

Time to go to Phuket. That was one hell of a drive, and when I arrive it is pouring like mad. It rained so hard that several power poles were washed out and we were blacked out. I decided that Pattaya should be better, so I am off again with a short stop in Koh Samui to visit with friends.

Back in Pattaya for the rest of the trip. Played golf all day and played bar hop all night. Then the dreaded day arrives with a tear in my eye I board the plane that will bring me back to another year of work, but I am already making plans for next year.
